S-290-BF Single Surfacer

Description

The Whitney name has always represented quality woodworking machinery. This tradition continues with the S-290-BF Belt Feed Single Surfacer.

We have retained the high accuracy of the wedge bed planer while eliminating the gear driven feed rolls. In place of conventional pinch rolls we now furnish a positive feeding wide belt conveyor system.

The feed speed is determined with an AC variable drive which controls a 5 HP gear motor. The result is traditional Whitney – a better feeding surfacer, at a more affordable price!
